Auto/ Heavy Equipment

Gentry adjusters boast extensive experience in all types of vehicle and equipment losses. The various backgrounds of our staff include years with national auto appraisal firms, national auto insurers, and body shop management. Their many years in Texas keep them well acquainted with the many sources that can be used to repair a vehicle in the most cost effective manner.

The same applies to valuation issues where the Vehicle or Equipment is a constructive total loss. We have many sources for making an accurate assessment of the value of the involved item. Many of these sources involve currently available replacements and many are based on retrospective histories. Besides the readily available Book Values(NADA, BlueBook, etc.) there is substantial current information available through internet and catalogue sources. These sources can be valuable for valuation issues and maximizing salvage values particularly where the item is of a specialty variety not listed in the generic value listed in the books. Our specialty damage estimating expertise includes motorcycles, pleasure watercrafts, off-road, farm, oilfield, fire and emergency service vehicles, lift apparatus, heavy earthmoving equipment, tractor-trailers, and tankers.  Motocycle
Subrogation Some our appraisers are also experienced licensed casualty adjusters and thereby inspect the vehicular physical damage with causation issues in mind as well as the repair estimate concerns. This is extremely valuable to you where damages are inconsistent with the statement accounts of the vehicle operators. The interview or statement process can be much more fruitful for the adjuster with that knowledge in hand.   Statement
While we work well with the many repair shops in the state, our appraisers maintain their independence by always completing their own estimates in an autonomous manner. We use the ADP estimating system and can receive assignments through their network if you so choose. Our appraisers utilize the Mitchell Manuals for large truck claims. The digital estimate along with digital photography allow us to transmit our reports, appraisals, and all other report package elements via email through ADP or by use of Adobe Acrobat or other web-based applications proprietary to some of our individual clients.  Auto Physical Damage
