Marsh Gentry serves as President of Gentry & Associates Claims Service, Inc. Prior to founding this company in 1998, he served as Executive Vice-President and General Manager for Barron Risk Management Services, Inc. In his 2 years there, he directed the successful expansion of that company into D/FW and Houston. Previous to that he served for 23 years with GAB Robins, managing the San Antonio branch inclusive of south and west Texas offices. His experience in all lines of insurance claims since 1973 prepares him for any kind of claim situation. Gentry has served as President of the Texas Independent Insurance Adjusters Association (TIIAA) and Vice-President of the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters (NAIIA). He also served on the Board of Directors and was a founding member of CPLIC (Claims Professional Liability Insurance Corporation), the largest E&O
insurer of IA’s in the US.
Steve Perry joined Gentry & Associates Claims Service and the NCA Group, Inc. in 2011 after many years as a successful executive, manager, and general adjuster in the insurance claims industry. Steve began his career as a trainee with GAB in 1973 in the Texas panhandle and quickly advanced into management, ultimately advancing to the Austin Branch Manager position where he served 17 years. Perry then spent 16 years with IAS Claims Service LLC where he served in various management and ownership positions, culminating in his role as EVP/ COO for the company for several years. He is accomplished in large loss adjusting, having handled many $1 Million plus property losses in his career.
Mark “Tracey” Arp began his adjusting career with Texas Farm Bureau in Waco, Texas after graduation from Baylor University in 1981. After a few years with the Farm Bureau, he decided to become an independent adjuster. Tracey has been working claims as an independent since 1983. He attended several intensive claim schools including Farm Bureau Tech in Jackson, MS and GAB schools in Aurora, CO. During the course of his career as an independent adjuster, Tracey has handled residential & commercial property claims in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, & South Carolina. He has worked numerous catastrophe claims including hail storms, tornados, hurricanes as well as thousands of daily claims over his career. In addition to claim handling, he has reviewed files, supervised & trained other adjusters while working for several large IA firms & his own firm. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years & his four sons & their families,
along with riding his Harley Davidson.
Don May joined Gentry & Associates Claims Service in May of 2011. Don has served in both staff and independent claims positions. His career began in 1978 with Comco Insurance Company in Amarillo, Texas, where he began handling automobile physical damage and casualty losses. Don worked through the ranks and became Casualty Supervisor in 1981 and Claims Manager in 1985. In 1986, he joined National Lloyds Insurance Company in Waco, Texas as Vice President of Claims and was responsible for a staff of field adjusters and the home office claims operations. National Lloyds’ business included homeowners, low value dwelling, automobile and commercial trucks. His duties included supervision of all litigation files. 1993, he left his staff position and moved into the independent claims business and has managed and worked both daily and catastrophe losses for numerous insurance companies.
Lee Bishop began his adjusting career with Farmers Insurance after graduation from University of California, Santa Barbara in 1990. His responsibilities with
Farmers included handling daily residential and commercial property claims, Large Loss team assignments and advancing to supervision of various teams of adjusters. His duties eventually included training new adjusters in Xactimate and claims handling skills, reviewing files, and resolving complex claims.
In 1998, he joined the Farmers Catastrophe Team as a Supervisor, handling various storm losses, including hurricane, tornado, fire, hail, mold and flood losses. In 2008, he left Farmers to become an Independent Adjuster, handling residential property and commercial property claims throughout the U.S. Over his 22 year career, Lee has worked numerous daily & catastrophe claims from earthquake, hail storms, tornados, hurricanes, fire as well as thousands of daily claims.
In 2013, Lee joined Gentry & Associates Claims Service in San Antonio .
In his spare time, he enjoys participating in daughter’s gymnastics events and golfing with his son.
Ray Condit served for 16 years with Barron & Co. Adjusters, Inc. and 18 years with GAB prior to being a founding partner of Gentry & Associates Claims Services. He functioned as a Regional Manager, Branch Manager, and General Adjuster during his GAB years. His many years of ‘hands-on’ claims experience make him one of South Texas’ most qualified adjusters for your claim needs.
Steve Dudash began his adjusting career with The Republic Group in 1986 at the Tulsa, Oklahoma branch after prior jobs as a restaurant manager and working
in the small loan business. After 21 years with Republic, he served as Regional Manager for an independent adjusting firm and has been working claims as an independent since 2008. He attended claim school, Vale National in Dallas, TX. Steve has handled residential property and commercial property claims in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, California, North Carolina, and New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. He has worked numerous catastrophe claims from hail storms, to tornados, to hurricanes as well as thousands of daily claims over his career. He has also reviewed files, supervised and trained other adjusters while working as a staff employee and for several large IA firms. Steve’s compassionate thought process empathizes with each policyholder's individual circumstances, which always are unique.
Gary Neal joined Gentry & Associates Claims Service in September 2008. Previously, Gary worked with Hochheim Prairie Farm Mutual for the past 4 years. Gary’s claims career began in 1976 with Allstate Insurance, located in Houston, Texas. During his claims career Gary has handled a full range of property, casualty, liability and inland marine claims. Along with serving as field claims adjuster, Gary has also served as an inside claims examiner, a quality control supervisor and claims supervisor. Over Gary’s 30 year insurance career, he has worked numerous Large Loss property cases in the capacities of an outside field adjuster and inside claims supervisor. Gary is well seasoned within the claims industry to assist you with claims throughout the southwest and is particularly attuned to the many problems inherent along the Gulf Coast area.
Cheryl Norman joined Gentry & Associates Claims Service, Inc in August of 2005. Before joining us she worked as a casualty adjuster for both regional and national insurance companies and independent adjusting firms. Prior to becoming an adjuster, she worked as support staff for insurance company claim departments and independent adjusting firms. She still maintains her all lines license. She is responsible for seeing that our support staff enters new claims and concludes packaging of claim reports in a timely basis. She can answer most all your questions or get you to the person that can. Cheryl is a vital part of our file review process on all claims.
